About me
Dear Sir / Madam; I am a recent Graduate from the University of Huddersfield where I received a First Class BA( Hons) Surface Design. I am a very creative, dedicated individual, with a passion for all aspects of design. I am very dedicated to my work, hardworking and very organised in all aspects of my life and put in exceptional effort to ensure each project is produced and fulfilled to a very high standard. I regularly Research into current trends and Trade shows forming the starting point of all projects, gaining an understanding of what is currently on the market, and how product ideas can be developed to produce an innovate design concepts. I am very outgoing, willing to travel, and enjoy the prospect of working in a career which motivates and pushes you working with many people. Through my time at Huddersfield University I have gained a high interest and developed excellent CAD skills specialising in both Mac and PC, working with design suites Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, 3D Studio Max and much more. I spent a year in Industry working as a Computer Aided Carpet Designer, where I produced a portfolio of digital designs for the Leisure Industry, designing for hotels, clubs, Mosques and much more. During my time there I also designed brochures and catalogue layouts for new collections. Alongside with this I have worked on projects with many professional design companies which are clearly indicated in my CV, indicating I have the ability and knowledge to work with industries and to a professional, commercial brief. I am confident with these skills that I can make a contribution to your company. I have excellent communication and ICT skills, working in previous industries I have liaised with customers on a one to one basis, through telephone and email communications. I am willing to learn further to fulfill the role of this job, I am a very quick learner, and fulfill each task thoroughly. I have gained many skills, and with my knowledge and willingness to learn further to develop upon existing knowledge and skills, I enjoy the aspect of discovering new surfaces and learning new techniques. My work is very ambitious and technical and I set high standards in order to achieve high results and outcomes in everything I do. I'm a very 'hands on person', and enjoy the process of exploring and creating new design concepts, and bringing something unique to the market. I have the dedication and independency to work as an individual as well as part of a team, and have gained many skills working within a team across the design industry, ensuring each project is fulfilled to a high standard. Im a very friendly, highly motivated, dedicated individual with a lot to offer and I find the prospect of working with you really exciting, hope to hear back from you soon.
