About me

Shelley Smoler has quietly carved out her spot as Droga5 London's first female Chief Creative Officer. As a creative leader, Shelley is committed to nurturing young talent and creating ideas that are worth being remembered.

She's renowned for multi-channel work that makes a social impact and entertains and engages audiences. She's been at the helm of multi-award-winning creative output for brands such as Amazon, BrewDog, Uniqlo, and Diet Coke.

The Johannesburg-born creative is globally celebrated for pushing the boundaries of

commercial creativity, having used bank notes to create the provocative, highly acclaimed

Black-pencil-winning "Trillion Dollar Campaign" for The Zimbabwean.

Shelley has been a frequent fixture on the global circuit of advertising awards shows, both as recipient and a jury member, where she enjoys taking a break from her gentle, everyday demeanour by fighting loudly for good ideas in a South African accent that has been surprisingly resilient, despite more than a decade of living in London.
