Please see attached CV for your consideration, regarding the Special Events Assistant Position.

My current role as an Events Assistant for a property marketing agency, supporting the events manager for the Completely Retail and Leisure Marketplace, an exhibition with over 2000+ delegates, highlights transferable skills needed for this position. Through this role I derived a real sense of responsibility, having to meet delegate and client requirements, while providing support in event delivery, customer service and administration. Experience within an experiential marketing agency, has developed my understanding of communications, which is something I am am confident I can develop on.

My previous administration roles, alongside my experience as an Events and Recruitment Manager within a pressurised and fast-moving environment have developed meticulous organisational skills, including managing all aspects of the event process, monitoring business efficiency and financial aspects. While this is set as a standard for event organisations, I go above and beyond to ensure the smooth running and minimise the potential stresses that arise when managing events as a process and the administration behind this.

With this insight in to trends throughout the experiential marketing industry, alongside a proven background in events and administration, I feel I am the right candidate for the role. Hard-working, focused and driven, all while maintaining a personable and friendly demeanour, I have the thick skin that is needed for a fast paced and highly driven environment like this.
