I have 10 years experience as a proof reader, mainly academic treatises, theses and dissertations. I have a knack for spotting typographical errors as well as inconsistencies (in fact I cannot remember when last I read a book which did not contain at least one error, and I am an AVID reader!) I pay very close attention to the smallest detail. I am seeking employment from home as a proof reader.
I have a typing speed of 104 wpm (97.5% accuracy) as tested by ProficienC in 2005. I am currently working as a Virtual Assistant, transcribing digital audio files, copy typing and proof reading for my various clients.
