About me
From my roots as an illustrator and freelance designer, I have now been working in-house for an international business in the optical sector as a Graphic Designer & Marketing Executive for the past 21 months.
My current role is varied and involves creating and designing a large amount of content for different platforms and uses, including BTB and BTC. I am the lead designer for the UK office and manage the all promotional print, web and e-mail design for day to day uses. My current role demands a varied and fast workflow; I create not only all of the designs for the UK division of the company but I also act as a bespoke marketing agency for our associated businesses. Most recently I have been working on creating a new brand for a private label launch, performing a large update on the company website, alongside the architectural planning and artwork for a large upcoming trade show.
The majority of my work is created for print including our biannual company magazine which I manage along with the UK Marketing Manager. The design process of the magazine involves liaising with our partner suppliers for advertorials and features, I will work personally alongside the marketing representative of our suppliers company to keep the design within their brand guidelines and specifications. The work that I complete for our associated business involves constant time and data management to ensure that all deadlines and orders are completed.
I am a passionate designer who loves to see a project through from idea to completion, as well as assisting others in their own work too. I am constantly developing my skill set and I get a real feeling of satisfaction from being able to bring new skills to the table for projects and clients.
