About me

I love to travel, but never do. I love to go hiking, which I occasionally do. I love to drink coffee, but I drink it too often. I love to illustrate Children's books, which I do everyday.

I was trained as a printmaker which may explain my love for dark, detailed and realistic art. However most of my commissioned illustration work is relatively simple, light hearted and brightly coloured. Clearly, I'm a bit of a split personality.

I am a published children's book illustrator for the most part, which fulfils my happy side, while medical illustration satisfies my need for order and precision. I'm a freelance illustrator working in the publishing, animation and film industries.
