Dear whom it concerns,

I am writing to apply for your Photo Editor position as advertised on the Creative Pool website and attach my CV for your consideration. I am a Photojournalism University graduate, and believe I have the relevant skills and experience that would benefit your company.

Having recently been made redundant from my Picture Desk Assistant position at Big Pictures Ltd, I am looking to continue my career in the media industry and this position with Travel Zoo is a perfect way for me to do so.

I am very computer literate with experience on both Mac and PC platforms. I have a vast knowledge of Photoshop, Fotostation, and Photo Mechanic, and I am fully competent with the use of FTP transmission, and Digital Asset Management systems such as Orphea Web Studio and Singula. I am able to touch-type and I have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.

I have a great deal of customer service experience gained through my previous positions. I am able to communicate clearly with people on all levels on the telephone and face to face. My previous positions in office based environments will prove to be beneficial for this role when it comes to responding to emails, answering and making telephone calls, and updating and maintaining in-house records and databases.

I am very organised, show great attention to detail and can work well independently or as part of a team. I can work well under pressure to tight deadlines, ensuring a high level of accuracy is given throughout my duties, of which I will always undertake and complete to a professional standard.
