About me
I am a final year undergraduate student studying Textile Design, specialising in knitwear, at Chelsea College of Arts, University of Arts in London. During my studies, I became highly proficient in researching current and upcoming design trends, sampling swatches in knitwear, using sublimation pressed printing techniques.
My current project addresses multi-layered and multi-sensory component being related to the environmental problems caused by seasonal discarding in fast fashion system. This is of a modular design —its component parts are interchangeable with another, a response to the medium of the cloth: new ways of presenting subtle images between body(skin) and the cloth(textiles) and designing multi-designed appeal to support the shape of the garments on the body.
I have passion to work in sustainable fashion industry and produce sophisticated collection of knitted, printed and constructed fabric designs for lifestyle apparel.
