About me

Sergio Aparicio is a visual artist known as an OKOBÉ, born in Barcelona who currently lives in London. He has been nominated by World Photo Organization as a one of the best twelve portraits of the year 2019. In the last season he has made several artworks and collaborations for international artists such as Laura Mvula, Common, Vince Fraser,1000Kings, Jazz Re:freshed, Afropunk. Currently, he has made his first film as a film director called "GALSEN. The language of souls". Recording, composing the music, editing, directing and sharing his story as an afro-descendant through music, spirituality and his roots. It has been selected in more than ten international film festivals around the world including the prestigious "Pan African Film Festival in Los Angeles- California in 2019.
