I am writing in response to your advertisement for a Graphic Designer . I am currently studying 3rd year Graphic Design at the University of Greenwich and I would like to make the best use of the time developing my skills in a working environment whiles I am at university studying. I am available to work for up to 20 hours a week and as a freelance.
I have a various range of experience within Graphic Design. I have been involved in three work placements the past four years. These have included work placements in MailBoxes Ent, Pentland PLC , an Internship role at Slow ink Software Arts in Reading and recently I was involved in the Young Designer Programme designing with 9 other designers to work with Lambeth College.
I am highly proficient in Adobe CS Suite both Macintosh and Windows. I am able to work under pressure to tight deadlines and ensure the work is produced at the highest level whiles juggling full-time study. In particular, I have extensive experience designing magazine pages, advertisements, brochures and flyers in some cases websites. I have a big interest in fashion especially in the street wear industry and I have worked with an up and coming company before.
I enjoy working in a creative team and have the ability to communicate with managers and colleagues alike as my referees can confirm. I believe that my creativity and interest in Graphics as a whole can make a great contribution for your company.
