About me

My illustration interpretation/style is born from a love of Japanese traditional line art, the European comic book style, art nouveau, using mainly watercolors, acrylics, a figurative interpretation, with digital treatment if needed. The themes can born from fairytales to contemporary personalities, strong people of history, fashion, beauty, tradicional costumes, nature, tradicional folclore, history, pop culture. I also have a strong European comic book influence, specially derived from my early formation years, with Franco-Belgian comics, illustration and painting artists.

My main clients are writers of children or teen illustrated books, to magazines, illustrated identity for shops, illustration applied to tourism and publicity, partnerships with other creators and design studios, merchandising for cultural events, music bands.

Lately I've been broadening my art style to fit a more mature audience, developing subjects more dedicated to social issues, present media and culture, more intimate and lifestyle magazines.
