About me

My training in art and design is very weird due to my art and design foundation were we had to look at all parts of art and design such as: fine art, fine art print, ceramics (also was trained to screen print on to paper clay and others) 3D, sculpture, metal work, animation, screen printing, photography, textiles and fashion.
Due to this I chose to do a degree in surface design and interior textiles this is because the subject has no limits and can us all my knowledge gained from my foundation in to my degree. But became intrigued by screen-printing. I have used all the methods and pushed them to the limits to understand the different effects and achievements from them. I also know the process of mixing and coating screen-cleaning place the image on to them and effects of using different methods of pen pencil etc to crated different effects.
Organisational skills are a most in the print room and in other work place. Which I have achieved when doing my degree and in the work places.
Degree: all are products is about around reaching and recording what we used and having the write materials to hand due to deadlines. We have used this throw out the 3 years but when we have a live products it is essential such as Art for Life - Entered the competition for a themed window to be displayed at Musgrove Park Hospital Taunton. My design was one of six, which will be on display for the next five years.
Transform the Future - entrant for Dalsouple flooring competition designing a floor for a local school.
Off the Wall - entrant for a rug design with Axminster Carpets.
I also had to use organisational skill when working at House of Fraser (Kaliko) due to have 4 staff to run the department we had to me self sufficient and be able to know all areas of work.
