Food blog Halal Gem approached me for ideas for a Ramadhan campaign to build a stronger relationship with their readers. I asked their audience to submit stories on the theme of breaking fast. I used selected stories as a starting point, photographing their authors and building on the photos with visuals, to create a mixed media illustration of the story.
These were published alongside the stories on HG’s facebook and Instagram pages, where they helped increase traffic and engage the audience.
