About me
Sebastián got an early start in the industry. Just months after finishing high school in Bogotá, Colombia, he landed in New York for an internship at The Vidal Partnership, where he worked in brand experience for global giants like Heineken. Once back in Colombia, he joined DDB as an account executive, handling brands like Energizer, Clorox, Telefónica, Toyota, and Porsche. But his true passion was creativity, and it wasn't long before he started winning awards at advertising festivals. The highlight
Determined to make the switch to creative, Sebastián became a copywriter at Y&R, where he racked up over 100 awards—including Colombia's first-ever Lion in Mobile & Digital and a Gold Lion in Radio, adding to the agency's seven wins. After nearly seven years working with major clients (Movistar, Goodyear, Land Rover, Texaco, Danone, Unilever, Adidas, and many more) and leading the agency's biggest creative group, he took on a new challenge as Regional Creative Director at The Coca-Cola Company. Under the umbrella of Findasense, he led six teams across Latin America, overseeing the brand's social media ecosystem. Alongside his team, he won Coca-Cola's first-ever Grand Prix at the London International Awards (LIA).
After two years with one of the world's biggest brands, Sebastián returned to Y&R as a Creative Director—this time in Madrid—where he brought home Spain's first Lions in Social & Influencers. Then came an unexpected turn: entrepreneurship. Driven by his passion for food and bold ideas, he launched Fantastic V, a vegan restaurant designed for meat lovers—a disruptive concept that quickly gained a cult following and earned a spot among Madrid's top 20 burgers, the only plant-based option on the list.
But creativity isn't just about advertising or food. Sebastián is also passionate about fencing, plant care, and urban gardening—things that, in one way or another, have taught him discipline, patience, and the beauty of nurturing something until it thrives.
Eventually, the industry called him back, and he joined Manifiesto as Creative Director for Special Projects, leading innovation, social media, and new business for the Madrid and Barcelona offices. Under his leadership, the agency secured its first international wins at One Show, LIA, NYF, Ojo de Iberoamérica, El Sol, and was recognized as Independent Agency of the Year in multiple rankings. Just a year later, he was promoted to Chief Creative Officer.
