About me

I completed my Visual Study BA Hons Degree at Norwich University College of Arts.

I am an BA Creative Visual Designer.

I completed my schooling at Cecil Jones Secondary School. Where I studied Textiles, Art and Design, Graphics Design, Resistant Materials along with the Core subjects. Due to having amazing supportive tutors I continued my education their until I was 18, completing a AVCE in Art an Design obtaining AA, along with Textiles and Graphic Design. I wanted to continue and develop my skills getting in to Norwich school of Art and Design where I completed a degree in Visual Arts. The reason I chose this degree was it allowed my to develop my skills and talents in a wide area of media not having to develop just in one field, but in various and different forms of multi media, such as photograph, drawing, When obtaining a brief, I was then able to incorporate these skills, by using the type of media that best suited the concept. What I enjoyed most is that because I could integrate the different forms of media to produce a piece of art or a design it enabled me to produce something different that didn't have to conform.

My degree was made up of 70% project work and 30% Dissertation work, my dissertation was - What Similarities and Differences are their between Australia's Aboriginal Cave Art and British Rock Art. This continues to make me analyse my thoughts connecting people with art around the world. For my main art piece, I produce a scale model of a hallway and staircase, but then photographed this to produce a piece of work that was deceptive to the visual eye.

I consider myself to be a hard working, enthusiastic and reliable individual with good communication skills. I am an effective team player but also have the ability to work on my own initiative, whilst understanding the importance of meeting deadlines. I am very passionate about my art; I have over 3 years' experience of organising collaborative projects, having participated in various exhibitions and group projects.

I am a good Visual artist who likes to explore outside the box but can always work to a brief and incorporate and explore ideas from others. I'm enthusiastic about travel charity and sport.

Outside of university lifetime opportunities

Reference from Victoria Hill/Expedition Leader.

'Sean was an excellent team leader, he was confident, organised and very supportive to team members. He successfully negotiated travel days taking the whole team across various transport networks with ease and confidence. Sean was mature, balanced, motivated and enthusiastic challenger and was ready to step up at all times. Despite needing hospital treatment Sean returned to the expedition and dealt well with the physical challenges of mountain treks in Rio state. He walked for 5 days along the gold trail following the path from gold mines to the sea whilst he independently camped and prepared food. He kept upbeat, mentally alert and enthusiastic at all times.
