Dear Sir / Madam,

I would like to apply for the position of Production Support Manager you have recently advertised.

I have extensive experience relevant to the post, having managed teams in both design, artworking and production environments, with my previous position at Eden Design relating in particular to your need for packaging experience. Whilst there I worked on a number of projects for companies such as ASDA, Next and Waitrose, along with smaller, niche companies. In my final year at Eden, a design I produced won 'Packaging Design of the Year' at the Print Week Awards.

I also have direct experience with relation to print finishing and its impact / effect on a project, and whilst working on White Dwarf magazine for three years, was directly responsible for all press sign-off procedures. This experience was further intensified in my last post as we worked directly with various print companies to ensure that print finishes such as foiling, embossing, special colours and complex UV plates all ensured the highest quality.

Having worked both in-house and via agencies for a number of years, I believe my experience will be of benefit for the post in terms of working alongside companies and agencies to ensure their requirements are met to the highest standards.

With my background in running teams I am very comfortable in delivering project briefs, managing team's workflow and ultimately delivering a great final product.
