Re: Junior Artworker
Please find enclosed a copy of my C.V. I am applying for the Junior Artworker position.
I am a graduate of Birmingham City University where I gained a 2-1 in Visual Communication: Illustration. In the third year I produced my final project on "Design for the Retail Environment" focusing on design for all aspects of fashion retail spaces, from ideas and concepts, layout and innovation, to window art, POS and installations.
After finishing my degree in 2010, I spent 14 months travelling and working around South East Asia and Australia from where I recently returned. I am currently working as a freelance artist and looking for a career that challenges and enables me to use my skills and experience.
I have always had a very big interest in fashion and have 6 years experience working in a large successful retail stores, including Jack and Jones and H&M as a sales assistant while studying.
I would very much like the opportunity to use my design focus, artistic and practical ability and my experience in retail fashion, and develop my skills and experience with Source and pursue a career as a Artworker. I have strong illustrative skills and a good knowledge of Adobe software as well as experience in administrative roles and I am seeking a position within a studio to help me develop my knowledge and reach my full potential
