About me

September

Dear Sir/Madam

My name is Sean Davison and I am a graduate of the University of Westminster with a First Class Ba (hons) degree in Contemporary Media Practice. I am contacting you regarding the Junior Motion Graphics Designer position that you are advertising. I have several years of experience using After Effects and have utilised this in the majority of my University projects. My love of motion graphics has always inspired my projects and has led me to producing work that has been described as 'visually stunning' by peers and tutors alike. I am currently improving my knowledge of Cinema 4D to further my skills as a Motion Graphics Designer. Although I have a passion for motion graphics, I also love to video edit, draw and paint, and am continuously looking to improve my skills in all areas.

Through years of study I have learnt about semiotics, colour theory, and many other academic theories that aid my understanding of branding and how to achieve the outcome that the client desires. My current job in Cyberdog, as Till Specialist, also requires me to work as part of a team, where good communication and sociability are key, so I look forward to being part of a lively team and truly believe that I will bring a creative and confident contribution to the team.

Thank you for your time and considerations. The Junior Motion Graphics Designer position that you are advertising is an opportunity that I would both love and excel at. For an extensive list of my skills and experience please see my attached CV. My creative portfolio is also available on my website seandavison. I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,

Sean Davison
