About me

I'm an award-winning editor, copywriter and content strategist. People hire me because they're looking for beautifully crafted words, big ideas and the ability to get under the skin of any project.
Whether it's launching and editing national magazines or creating campaigns for major brands, I'm at my best managing a team to answer challenging briefs.

I became a writer while at university - writing music and gig reviews for local newspapers and magazines - before joining a fledgling magazine publisher in London as its first editor.
From there I launched a free weekly magazine for young London, a decade before Shortlist came along. Their model, though, has proved to have a little more longevity. This was followed by a fascinating three years running Ministry of Sound's editorial operations in London and Ibiza, and then a similar stint at Loaded, first as its Deputy Editor and then Editor.
Since then, I've edited a host of customer marketing publications, such as BA's High Life, NetJets' Ascend magazine and Ace Tennis, a monthly newsstand title produced on behalf of the Lawn Tennis Association. I also spent two years as a weekly columnist (dating and nightlife) and feature writer for London Lite.

More recently, I've worked for a number of high profile digital clients, launching and editing Red Bull's UK website, producing short films for Expedia, running Covent Garden London's website and creating content for agencies such as Holler, Ogilvy & Mather and Seven, plus freelance features for the Guardian, Daily Telegraph, Daily Mail, Men's Health, the BBC, Cool Camping, FHM, Country Life, Sunday Times Style and many more.

I am now the co-owner and editorial director of Curve Content, a London-based publishing company. Our flagship title is Tempus, a triple award-nominated prestige watch and luxury lifestyle magazine that I launched in 2012. We are currently working on a number of other exciting online and offline content projects.
