About me

I am writing to express an interest in the PR vacancy. From my CV attached you will be able to distinctly see that I have the understanding,

organistaional skills and positive hard working attitude needed for a role in fashion. My background of hands on experience in various different fashion sectors will allow me to make a real impact within this role.

My most relevant experience is my current Brand Assistant & Press Manager role, with womenswear company Wolf & Whistle. Where I act as first point of contact for the company as a whole, covering retail, sales, ecommerce, wholesale, concessions, out going press, social media and marketing graphics. I also set up and over see events such as Pure London, Catwalk Edits and discount sales. Furthermore I recruit a monthly Press & Marketing admin interns to assist with projects ensuring the interns are tutored to leave with a good understanding of the brand and sector.

I am a graduate of the London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London, where I studied Fashion Illustration BA (hons). During my studies and following my graduation in 2013 I have had the responsibility of managing an e-commerce site for a High street fashion brand Pussycat London and assisting at three others such as Topshop Wolf & Whistle and Risky Clothing.

I have assisted the three seasons at London Fashion Week; with two different stylists Nesley Kuhlow and Tamara Cinick on four different shows: Zeynep Kartal, Nian, Lug Von Siga and Zeynep Tosun. I aided with model castings, fittings, styling, runway selection, taking photos and mind mapping ideas with the designer and stylists for the shows such as music influence and makeup & hair.

Through my employment and internships in fashion to date, I have recongised and reviewed the smooth running of successful businesses and also the wide spectrum of roles within a fashion house or press company. Gaining experience; furthermore from my current role writing of press releases, liaising with PR companies, sales negotiation, reporting key metrics and promotions for trade meetings, fashion forecasting, analysis of best selling items, using Photoshop to make graphics for website skins and advertisements, events preparation and how to be business savvy. For example assisting the Fashion Features team at British Vogue during their busiest season helped me to hone my time management and organisational skills to a tee.
