About me

I have been working for Malmaison and Hotel du Vin hotel groups, for the past one and a half year. I am currently looking for a job in the interior design field to furhter expand my skills. My current projects include the refurbishment of meeting rooms, a spa extension and a 165 room soft refurbishment. I am knowledgable in specifactions that need to met for fabrics and wallpaers used in the contract sector and am confident in liaising with suppliers, contractors and architects. I am keen to climb up the career ladder and feel that in my current environment this is being hindered.

I have completed a degree in Information Systems, so am extremely confident with using all computer software and am able to familiarise myself with new packages quickly. I have excellent communication skills, which have been enhanced by my experience as a classroom teacher. As a result of teaching, I am also highly organised and efficient.

I am a team player, able to work with a variety of people, young and old, and at different ends of the management spectrum. I am a patient individual, yet very demanding when necessary. I enjoy responsibility, but am aware when help is needed and am not afraid to ask for it. I am a self motivated person, who has the desire to be successful and flourish as an individual.
