About me

Stewart studied architecture at the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL. On completion of his studies he worked for several architects across Europe prior to co-founding Satellite Architects in 1996. Since 2009 Stewart has been the MD of Satellite Architects. He is committed to creating exceptionally designed, economically viable buildings with a responsibility to the environment. His work exemplifies a determined ambition to participate as creator in improving and stimulating the built and extended environment. Satellite Architects has evolved from a small 2 person practice into todays company which has numerous projects focusing specifically on the Education and Hospitality sectors, with a specific interest in environmental sustainability. Having taught for over 13 years at The Bartlett, Stewart is now a Unit Master at the Architectural Association, a member of the RIBA validation board, a judge on the RIBA awards, a member of the RIBA and a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts
