To Whom It May Concern:

Thank you for considering my application. I'm American and living in Germany as this is where my husband's work placed him. I am here on a U.S. SOFA/NATO Passport (I have a U.S. tourist passport, too) that allows me to stay and work in Germany for an extended period without the need for a work visa. It does not, however, extend throughout the EU and UK, to the best of my knowledge, so I will need to apply for a work visa to take a position in the UK. This should not be difficult as I have a very clean background and I was born and raised in the U.S.

I have a master's degree and over five years of experience in marketing- and communications-related fields, as listed in my résumé, to include social media management and marketing, actively engaging the audience and creating ways to encourage the audience to engage the accounts as well. I am well versed in web analytics, SEO, content/copy/brand development, and related essentials that contribute to social media management and make me highly efficient at my work. I am also a diligent employee, with a creative background that helps me note greater detail in any task I'm assigned.

My psychology background enhances my ability to manage interpersonal relations, including, but not limited to, positive and negative engagements from social media sources, workplace psychology (e.g. difficult coworkers, stress, leadership or leading, etc.), negotiations, interviews, and the like. Having worked in a medical/dental clinic, I have experience handling patient information, which I deem comparable to sensitive information/issues, as well.

I am self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented, ready to put forth substantial effort when short-listed or hired, and I have a tendency to work within and beyond my sphere, collaborating with others for the better of the team and company. Although I am not in the UK at the moment, I'm not far and I can easily come for an interview on very short notice (a week or less, in most cases), and I have no qualms over moving to the UK for the job. I can come to the UK on very short notice for an interview if/when needed.
