About me
My name is Marisa Lopez, my professional name is Sarima, result of invert the syllables of my name.
I was born in Bilbao and lived in Madrid during 12 years
Studied fashion design and worked as bridal & scenic costumes designer for many years.
I've taught drawing, painting and crafts to adults and children, fashion design and art history.
In my artwork I'm using mixed techniques in Photoshop and a Wacom tablet.
Two of my illustrations were selected for Ballistic publishing "Exotique 3" and "Exposé 10", publications which show the best worldwide artworks of digital artists.
I'm working on editorial illustration for books, magazines and games, with photographers to retouching and photo manipulation, build websites and graphic design works for companies and design studios.
My first book "Ilunabar Magic Fables" was published by Dibbuks Editorial.
My artwork was selected by George Lucas director to be on the header of Digital illustration section of his Chicago's Museum website.
