About me
I'm a conceptual creative and copywriter. I work in a team, with art director Sarah Lim, and also alone as a creative/writer.
We have been working together for Ogilvy for the last three years largely on Unilever brands like Dove, Comfort and Hellmanns. We left in the summer to explore new places and organise our work life differently. So far these include: Ogilvy Singapore ( Ponds), at McCanns (Pandora) and Partners Andrew Aldridge (E.ON).
The thing that makes me a bit of a rare bird is my length of experience and passion for working on brands that talk to women. I've won awards (Cannes, D&AD, etc) doing this but also feel rewarded when a campaign gets great sales figures, or a finger pauses and the person surprises themselves by actually clicking to buy.
My history as an art director ( pre mac skills, I'm afraid), means that I'm experienced in working with designers, photographers and directors to get eye-catching imagery.
As a writer I've written many features for magazines like 'Baby and Me' - now Smallish magazine, and like all copywriters have that novel in my bottom drawer....
