About me

After graduating with a Ba Hons Graphic Communication degree in 2007 from UCA Farnham, I have been working in Central London for a well-established Publishing Company. After 3 years in this position I have developed my Print Media skills and attained a dynamic insight into the Industry. I have now decided to embrace a Freelance career to build up my portfolio and experiences.

I excelledin my role as Senior Designer on PC PRO magazine, taking initiative and branching out my skills to other opportunities within the company. My daily duties extended to commissioning illustrations; creating and updating templates, brand guidelines and style sheets; arranging and directing photography sessions, both in house and on location; constantly evaluating the effectiveness of the magazine design; and developing concepts for magazine content.

I designed, from conception through to delivery, all graphic material for the annual PC PRO Awards 2009 and 2010, and re-designed the PC PRO Podcast logo. In a competition, I submitted a branding concept for one of the Chairman, Mr Felix Dennis' business ventures, in which my entry was runner-up.

Working in a fast-paced environment has developed my organisational and prioritising skills, and given me the desire to ensure that deadlines are met.

I have very strong layout and typographical skills, which are evident in the high quality of work in my portfolio. I am capable of delivering fresh and dynamic ideas, and able to work under pressure. I am very excited about the opportunity to begin a new challenge and I am confident that the design talents that I possess would make me an ideal candidate for new briefs. Please see my CV and portfolio of work.
