Dear Gabriele Skelton,

For this position I feel you would require that your employee's have the ability to be highly organised, efficient, self-motivated, personable and proactive.

I have managed small teams of people, worked individually and within finance (in particular managing budgets), while maintaining a paramount high level of professionalism and friendly attitude with clients and colleagues. Through this I have acquired a good telephone manner, with the ability to work quickly within any situation, ensuring a high client satisfaction.

Much of my roles at University and in the workplace involved (but not restricted to) building relationships, communicating and dealing with a range of people, as well as dairy management, dealing with contracts, invoices and arranging meetings and transport. This further heightened and developed my ability to manage internal and external matters and my interpersonal skills. In addition I have proven ability to balance numerous responsibilities and remain calm under pressure, especially when approaching deadlines. I am competent in handling multiple facets of office management such as, filing, research tasks, inputting data, handling numerous types of booking requirements and the use of all Microsoft Office programmes. Through my media and events background, as well as two years experience in hospitality and customer service, I have a flair for the creative environment. Plus I have knowledge of business administration, project management, marketing and social media, as well as experience of working within a diverse and ever changing environment.

I have a huge passion, enjoyment and very hands on approach to events projects. Such an enjoyment has increased throughout my degree, whereby I organised my own event, as well as working within one. Such projects included my fund raising evening, in addition to helping another team organise a Halloween and Christmas event at the bar in which I worked.

Through research projects such as a production company case study, my dissertation and creating a feature film pitch presentation, I have gained further knowledge in the use of multiple research techniques and resources, including qualitative and quantitative data.

I see myself as an individual with initiative, through my event's organiser position to raise funds for my University project, as well as an excellent team player, an all round people person,hard working, driven, ambitious and a self-starter.
