About me

I am a bright, enthusiastic and capable arts graduate relocating to London after four years living in Edinburgh as a music industry promotion manager, freelance illustrator and retail sector temp.

I have an extremely keen interest in both the written word and the correct use of language and grammar, and in the visual arts. As a writer and illustrator my natural flair for both text and image is balanced across the two disciplines.

I graduated from Edinburgh College of Art in 2009 and won a D & AD New Blood Award for my graduate show.

I am an excellent typist, fluent in Adobe Photoshop and comfortable with the rest of the Adobe suite, have a full, clean driving license, gained excellent A Level and GCSE results, won a Distinction in the coveted Advanced Extension Award for English beyond A Level standard, and was educated at Roedean School, East Sussex.

My previous employment, variously within the retail sector working for Topshop, in the hospitality sector, as an administration assistant for two high profile Estate Agencies, and a manager of the promotion of a band in Edinburgh both using online and below the line methods, I have gained a wide range of applicable skills for a myriad of roles.
