About me

I have been working as a Design & Marketing Executive for an event organising and publishing company in the defence and aerospace industry for over two and a half years. I feel that my upper second-class degree in Graphic Design and my in-house experience offer a firm foundation.

Having worked in an in-house design capacity for nearly 3 years, I am used to working to brand guidelines, liaising with internal clients across all levels, taking projects from brief through to the final outcome and working with printers to achieve the best possible outcome. I also have experience creating sales materials including email templates, flash banners and many other corporate marketing materials.

Having worked as an in-house designer for my current company, I am really looking to progress my career within a creative team.

I keep in touch with the design industry by subscribing to Design Week, reading a mixture of other design magazines such as Grafik and Creative Review. But also by visiting exhibitions. The most recent one being the Wim Crouwel exhibition at the Design Museum. I get excited about design looking at other people's creative ideas and designs.

It has also always been important to me to know what is happening outside of the design world too by regularly reading The Guardian and the BBC news website.

I can be available for interview at any time with a weeks notice, and look forward to hearing from you.
