About me

Having been employed as an artworker for a marketing and events agency since January I have gained evaluable creative, technical and practical experience of working with creatives and professionals. I've had an induction into the stimulating, sometimes demanding, but always interesting creative sector, but I'm now looking for my next big challenge and for a job that I can really get stuck in to! I'm motivated by the idea of working with successful, vibrant and design lead creative companies.

I am highly motivated and organised and have been able to develop my interest in design for print and print production through my recent employment as well as my years spent in higher and further education. Much of my recent job role has required precise attention to detail as well as technical artworking ability when preparing artwork for print for a range of applications including experimental marketing campaigns and high profile events as well as small format print.

Working as part of a small, interdependent team has given me experience of sharing work loads, whilst taking ownership and responsibility for my own role in the creative production process. Whilst interacting, both in person, over the phone and via email with a wide range of companies, individuals and agencies has allowed me to be confident in my communications, whilst remaining professional and respectful where required. I take pride in building good working relationships with colleagues, customers and external contacts.

I am very used to working to deadlines and to a brief whilst fulfilling specific requirements including, layout, format, colour, cost and time, as well as liaising with external printers and other business to ensure the completion of various projects. I have experience in managing my own time and workload effectively and am accustom to working on several things simultaneously. I enjoy collaborating with clients and other team members, working towards common objectives and am always happy to go the extra mile in order to get the job done.

I am experienced in problem solving both within my current role, working to find creative solutions to briefs and also through my experience working within customer facing roles, where I have strived to achieve customer satisfaction. I enjoy learning new skills and tackling new challenges with a positive, enthusiastic attitude.
