About me
As a designer, my work focuses on developing concepts through a thought-out aesthetic and captivating an audience through my harmonious and colourful handwriting. Embracing bold forms and passionate about nature, my creative dialogue explores sensuous imagery through striking, painterly textures. My versatility within design is reinforced through a multi-disciplinary approach and openness in translation to briefs. My practice pushes boundaries through process and a love of experimentation with colour and composition.
Being greatly influenced by trend research, colour and textural qualities, my work investigates and visualizes playful mark-making and hand generated media, aiming to stimulate an appreciation
towards harmonious compositions and the designs original integrity. Having characteristic imagery that embodies innovation, product integration and trend analysis into my creative practice, is further enhanced through my knowledge and use of repeat structures and commercial uses.
Directing from concepts, to themes, to design, my keen eye for detail communicates a lively narrative that echoes my enthusiasm towards all things creative. With key visual influences from biophilia; florals, foliage and natural forms, all inform immersive imagery that radiates positive, rejuvenating energy. Inspired by fashion and interior contexts through powerful imagery and colour paletters, I aim to create designs that are expressive and engaging.
Exercising my concepts as a platform to expand my creative drive and the possibilities within printed textile design, I use a combination of materials and media such as gouache, acrylic, manual print processes and digital editing andprint to produce advanced, innovative designs.
