Hello, I'm Sarah Farrer. A seasoned Copywriter and Scriptwritwith twenty years' experience writing words that make a difference. Words have always been my thing. I love using them to hook, to inspire, to surprise, to provoke, to give customers the best experience - and ultimately have them come back for more.
As a senior freelancer, I am proud to have been a champion of copy - and safe pair of hands - for a huge range of brands. I've written for global giants and financial institutions (the likes of Samsung, Virgin Media, Skype, Barclays and Mastercard), fintechs and start-ups - and pretty much everything in-between.
I work right across the board and am equally comfortable (and happy) creating friendly error messages and humanising Ts&Cs, as I am coming up with grabby headlines. And I enjoy crafting fresh, no-nonsense copy just as much now as I did when I was a rookie. Clients say I grasp their tone of voice quickly. I've also shaped the tone of voice for many brands and become a guardian for the tone, supporting other writers through straightforward guidelines and hands-on workshops.
Writing can be a solitary job, but I get a buzz from collaborating with team members and thrive on variety too. Experience has given me the confidence to challenge briefs when necessary to get the best possible outcome. I also know my way around strategy, research and data documents and how to use these to inform my writing. Turning work around fast and to the highest quality - even when the deadline is tight - is also a big strength of mine. Plus, I bring bags of energy and enthusiasm to every brief I undertake.

Over the years I've built a reputation for being easy to work with and a 'good egg'. As a freelancer and mum to 8-year-old twins, I've really honed my organisational skills too.
