About me
I am a freelance 2D/3D computer animator/animation director and run a company in Brighton called AnimNation - working on projects for broadcast, corporate and online clients.
Prior to starting my own animation company, I was employed as Lead Animator at Blue-Zoo Productions.
I have worked for clients such as Nickelodeon, CBBC, CBeebies, Toon Disney, Channel 4/RDF Media, MTV to name but a few.
I won a gold award at the New York Film and Video Festival for a 10-minute animation I created with a local producer. I also helped to win Red Bee Media a Gold Promax Award for Best Children's Ident for my animation work on Level Up. I have just been nominated for Freelancer of the Year at the Digital Media Awards which will be on 27th Nov.
I also organise the Brighton Animators Networking Group through Wired Sussex.
For three years now I have set an industry brief for the final year students on the Multimedia degree at Sussex Downs College to re-brand three fictitious television channels - an article about my connection with the college and a critic of the students work was featured in Computer Arts magazine. I have also given careers talks about the animation industry at local colleges and conferences.
