To the manager of Abacus Cards

I have been informed that you may have an upcoming design vacancy and would like to register my interest.

I graduated from the University of Lincoln in September 2011 with a BA Honours degree in Illustration and am now seeking employment, ideally in the creative or design field.

I have excellent knowledge of Adobe Photoshop which I am very familiar with as I used it during my course at Lincoln and continue to use it with my own work at home; I have also used both Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign software during my time at university.

I am currently working as a volunteer at The Cancer Research shop in Ipswich and have been for the last 8 months. During the Christmas period I worked as a temporary Sales Assistant at Debenhams Department Store in the Ipswich town centre.

I am friendly, polite, motivated and hardworking; and I am willing to learn new skills and undertake any necessary training this post would include. I am available for an immediate start.
