About me

I have strong typographical skills and a vast wealth of experience gained through exposure to a variety of media. My artwork strengths consist of style sheets, tables, grids and master page layouts, using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. Experienced use of spot UV varnishes and Pantone colours, combined with a great deal of repro knowledge. I have used these to meticulously set up publications varying in sizes from a single page flyer to 400 page catalogues with a number of price variations, multiple cover designs and been responsible for the artwork of large format material and numerous different types of packaging. I have also had experience in managing a team of graphic designers. Possessing strong understanding of the design and print industry, gained through a wealth of experience. I am an excellent team player, innovative and versatile with an accuate attention to detail.

Advanced skills and knowledge;

InDesign CS, Adobe Illustrator CS, Photoshop CS, Acrobat Professional, QuarkXpress 6.5 and Pindar CMS version 4. I use Microsoft Word regularly and have had some experience in Excel for producing internal documentation and spread sheets. I have also used Macromedia Flash to create web banners and animation. In the last six months I have attended a series of Waterman's Excellence training programmes for management. Courses covered include business excellence, leadership sills, brand awareness, problem solving.
