About me

Sara Wallace is Executive Producer of The Corner Shop, a film, tv, commercials and music video production company, overseeing all creative output for Europe and Asia. 

Sara is also Board Director of charity arts centre and cinema Rich Mix.

Sara spent four years in New York working for Droga5 and Mother, producing film and live event. While at Droga5 she produced a live event and music video for Beyoncé on behalf of the UN, performed at the General Assembly Hall to an audience including Michelle Obama, earning an MTV VMA nomination and generating over £100M in charity pledges.


Prior to The Corner Shop, Sara was EP at SMUGGLER for 4 years. Sara had a hand in bringing on new talent to the roster while further developing an existing best in class company and body of work. SMUGGLER represents a roster of diverse talent from multi disciplines and includes Academy Award winning Directors Kathryn Bigelow, Tom Hooper and Barry Jenkins along with notable Directors Susanne Bier, Lucy Forbes, Otto Bathurst and Jonah Hill.

SMUGGLER highlights from the last year include Broadway production Macbeth starring Daniel Craig, John Lewis Christmas campaign and a plethora of awards globally from D&AD, British Arrows, MVA's and AICP.
Last year SMUGGLER was Shots Production Company of the Year, and this year SMUGGLER won the highest accolade at Cannes Lions - the Palme D'Or 2022. 


Sara has been a jury member for D&AD and Shots. She was a Cannes Lions Film Craft juror in 2021 and on the Cannes Lions emerging talent Film Competition Jury for 2022.

Sara also sits on the Board for the arts charity Rich Mix in East London.
Tower Hamlets is the 10th most deprived Local Authority nationally and has the highest rate of child poverty at 42%. Rich Mix aims to be a community hub for learning, inspiration and general wellbeing, with artists such as Stomzy starting their career through the doors and hosting work space for companies such as Punchdrunk.
This year Sara aided in a successful application to the Arts Council England for a capital works project to develop and reimagine the building space, making it more accessible and valuable to the local community. Recent initiatives include a film programme and free cinema tickets to local school children with the highest propensity of free school meal places, for children to experience film as an art form, a profession and improve mental health and wellbeing.
Sara aided in keeping the charity afloat through covid and remains focussed in helping the charity maintain a strong presence in the arts, live music and film scene in London.
