About me

I am a Fashion Marketing graduate with over a year's experience in various placements in the fashion industry, in both London and New York. Specialising in magazine design, graphics and styling. I want to combine my degree and experience to gain an Assistant position for a magazine. I am looking for magazine work in Features assisting, Fashion assisting or Junior design. Motivated and determined I have strong communication skills and the ability to relate to a wide range of people. I am most inspired by Fashion, graphic and travel magazines.

Confident, committed and creative I can work well both individually and in a team. Specialising in magazine design in final year I made my own graphic in flight travel and fashion magazine. Throughout the project I gained strong layout skills and learnt to be very selective with the most impacting imagery that fitted the text. The marketing element of my background has instilled strong knowledge and awareness of consumer demographics.

I have strong creative skills and a good attention to detail. I am proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign and am furthering my photography skills in an evening class. I pride myself on my work being always on trend, and I am constantly researching new trends and ideas. I am excited to combine the skills I have learnt on my degree and in my extensive work experience to gain employment.
