About me

I have more than 7 years of industry experience in Maya, of which 5 years been as a Lighting Artist. Presently I am working as a 3D Generalist in Owl'e Animations, Birmingham, where I have the opportunity to work on various stages of production including 3D modelling, Texturing and Shading, Compositing, 3D projection in Fusion, setting hair and fur, Lighting and rendering. I have also worked on Photoshop for retouching matte paintings used for 3D projection.

I have got high level of knowledge and experience in Maya, Mental ray, Photoshop and Fusion and has a good colour sense and a great eye for details.

Sector Experience

o Flamingo Chart (Billi Productions Ltd., Glasgow, Scotland), A set of filler clips. Working on it from Dec 2011 till Aug 2012. I am handling texturing, Fur and Feather system generation, Lighting and rendering and Compositing., o Sir Billi (Billi Productions Ltd., Glasgow, Scotland), Worked as a Compositor and Matchmoving artist from March 2010 to Nov 2011. Sir Billi is a full length animated feature film with voice-over given by Sir Sean Connery for the main character. Being a small production facility, I got the opportunity to work on various aspects of the movie. Other responsibilities include handling Hair, Fur and Vegetation system., o Gaturro (Illusion Studios, Argentina and Toonz Animation), Worked as a Lighting TD from July 2009 till Jan 2010 on this 3D animation Movie. Primary responsibilities include setting up the Lighting for the Master BGs for the team to work on and checking the lighted files for continuity and mood. Was also doing shot specific lighting. Lighting and Rendering of the movie is done in Mental Ray., o The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus (G7 and Toonz Animation), Was Part of a 4 member Lighting Team on the Trailer of the 3D animation Movie based on the story of Santa Claus, which is currently under production. Responsibilities includes shot specific lighting according to the key provided and compositing the rendered images., o Freefonix (Cinnamon Entertainment and Toonz Animation), This Project is a TV show comprising 30 episodes telecasted on BBC in UK. Toon Shader was used for shading in this project. I worked as a Lighting Team Lead in charge of maintaining lighting continuity and overall lighting of the episodes allotted to our team., o Born, This Project is a Live Action Movie with 35 scenes of CG and I was a part of Lighting Team., o Panshel (P&PM Studio, France and Toonz Animation), This Project is a TV show comprising 40 episodes and I have worked in all of them as Lighting Artist, o Finley, the Fire Engine (KickStart Production, USA and Toonz Animation)., This Project is a Pre School TV show with vehicles as the characters. I was a member of the Lighting Team and worked in 60 episodes of the show., o Krishnakripa Sagaram (Amritha TV, India)., Worked as a freelance camera tracker for this TV series based on the life of Lord Krishna., - Worked as Graphic Designer at Trendz Animations, a division of Trendz Information Technologies, Hyderabad from Sep 03 to Jan 04. Was working in softwares like Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash.
