About me

During my four years at university I completed a number of projects from its intial concept to the end product. These were around various enviroments such as studios, salons,club design and retail.These projects have broaden my knowledge around key aspects of design from spacial awareness,lighting, textures, and other key materials relevant for today's modern market.

All these projects were around tight deadlines which I completed in the allocated time giving. This gave me an understanding of working within time scales and under considerable pressure.

One of my latest projects for my Masters degree was to design a concept for an

interactive bar for the company APPLE.The idea behind this was to give full control to the customer in his/hers immediate environment within a pod controlled by an ipod.As a result, this would give the customer a totally different and futuristic experience of a night club.

Another project I undertook was the design of a hair salon where equipments such as wash basins/ driers were mobile and came to the client providing a stress free environment for abled and disabled clents.

I can work on my work using my initiative or work within a group as I am a good team player. I take on board other people's views and keep an open mind to different approaches to design. I tend to take calculated and assessed risks with my designs to create innovative ideas which have paid dividends within my courses at University.
