About me

I am currently self-employed running my own web design and maintenance business, Wallcreeper UK, building, designing and maintaining websites for small businesses including Wild About India, Friends of Paxton Pits and Business by Design Ltd.

I was previously working in the HR department of CSV, a national volunteering charity, with responsibility for the maintenance and development of the HR database, and the design and maintenance of HR e-learning packages and the HR and Facilities intranet pages and documents.

Following our relocation to North Wales at the end of January, I am looking for a position to enhance my skills and provide a basis for building a career in the IT sector in the North Wales area, whilst marketing my own business to increase my client base. I am looking to use skills learned in my current positions alongside those gained during my MSc Computer Science, as well as gain valuable experience and additional responsibility.

I am familiar with networks, content management systems, working with style guides, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Fireworks, HTML and CSS. I have always enjoyed writing, editing, web design and providing helpdesk-type support, and would like an opportunity that would enable me to utilise these skills, whilst providing me with a new challenge to which to apply my knowledge and skills.
