About me
Introduction
I graduated from the University of Portsmouth with a 2.2 BA (Hons) in Computer Animation following 3 years studying both Art and Graphic Design in Hereford College of Art and Design. From October 2006 to September 2007 I worked in Architectural Visualization as part of a small team, in an Edinburgh based company called 'Pixel Image'.
My position as a 3D Artist, has greatly improved my overall skills both from a technical, compositional and team working viewpoint. This experience has helped me to create an artistic final product while both meeting deadlines and having fun while working. My responsibilities covered a wide range of tasks. These included creating and animating camera angles, modelling props, making adjustments to buildings, texturing and making landscapes. It also covered creating and animating characters, cars, and composing, realistic and artistic solutions for lighting with V-ray.
In my spare time I have been creating a varied assortment of high and low polygon models, as part of various personal projects, along with a diverse array of animations produced with Illustrator and After Effects. I have spent the last few months travelling through Italy and extensively across New Zealand.
I feel that I have strong artistic and compositional skills. I am able to assimilate several disparate artistic visions to create a unique output. I have a lot to offer both in my individual artistic vision, and also my wide ranging knowledge of 3d and 2d.
