Samuel's work
About Samuel
To whom it may concern,
I currently work for OneUp Sports as a Video Content Producer, but I'm looking for a new challenge - a job that will provide me with new avenues for exploration, and a path to help me develop further. I believe working for Source is the opportunity I've been looking for.
I have many responsibilities with my work for OneUp Sports. The company has exclusive deals with the NFL and certain EPL clubs, so I edit highlights packages together for their official mobile applications. I also produce original content for their YouTube page, which I have an active hand in marketing. Recently, I've led the development of a new stage in our video production, including the use of presenters, green screens, and more advanced graphics. I act as camera operator on these shoots, lighting the studio, and recording the sound.
My experience with video production is a lot more extensive than that, though. I'm a graduate of University of the Arts London, where I studied Film and Television Production, specialising in editing. Throughout my time on the course, I both shot and edited all types of films and videos: live editing in a studio, shooting with Red cameras, shooting on location, arranging and conducting interviews.
Outside of university, I have also worked as a freelance editor, editing a mixture of short films and music videos for independent artists.
Because of this wide variety of work, I've gained experience editing a lot of different formats, including documentaries, music videos, comedies and dramas. This has included online editing, offline editing, as well as vision mixing occasionally. I've also become highly skilled with many post-production software, such as: Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere CC, Avid Media Composer, Da Vinci Resolve, Adobe After Effects and Photoshop and In Design.
I'm hardworking and dedicated to my career, all the time looking for ways to improve myself. I would love the opportunity to work for Source as a video editor and camera operator. I love being creative, working in a creative environment, and I know that I have a lot to contribute, and equally feel that you can help me improve, as well.
I think that I would be a good fit for your business, and look forward to hearing from you.
