About me

Over the past few years, I have concentrated on developing my own skills in graphic design and developing a business mind by talking to people with experience and making sure that what i have been told has been taken on board to ensure that my work is done to the highest standard. I have taken this from a hobby to a passion over the past few years and i am now ready to make my passion my career and life.

The reason i think i am fit for this job is that i have the essential skills and desired skills that you have asked for. As i have previously mentioned, graphic design has been my hobby for the last few years and i am ready to move from a hobby too a career as i see my current skills at a professional level. Through work experience i have gained skills in the three software's that have been mentioned. Although i have been using photoShop for a while longer than the other two, i have the capability to quickly get a grasp of new software. Therefore i have quickly gained skills in InDesign and illustrator which allow me to produce work at a professional standard.

The work experience previously mentioned covers my knowledge of the printing process. The work experience that i did was a position as a graphic designer for a local printing company. Whilst working there, I gained a knowledge of how printing certain items of design is done and what is necessary to make sure each design looks at its highest quality once printed.

During my time at college studying ICT i have gained skills in basic and intermediate HTML and CSS as part of my course was Web Design and Development. This taught me how to build a website as well as being able to do all the designs myself. As well as the skills previously mentioned at college i was faced with technology that i have not used before, as well as certain software's that were new to me. But i have always had a keen interest in technology which has made it rather easy for me to quickly adapt to new items of technology Allowing me to be able to use them efficiently in a short amount of time.

Now here is the problem at hand. I do not currently live in the area of which the opening is available. But i see my self as a perfect candidate for this position and was wondering if you see that i am too you would consider the option of me being able to work from home, as i have all the equipment for design at my disposal.
