To whom ever it may concern,
I have had a range of experience in creative industry working for two companies. One of the company's client list consisted of Braun, MaxiMuscle and Barry M. The other company is Porsche who I will be working for within the next month by directly assisting a photographer working for Porsche at an event that is one of the company's biggest events.
Graduating from the University of the Creative Arts, I have received a 2:1 degree from a university rated top for the creative arts.
Although my degree is in Photography as a broad subject matter, the nature of the course has prepared me for this position. It involved a great deal of independent research which required initiative, self-motivation, organisation and a wide range of skills including in studio photography and image retouching. For one unit (Professional Practice) I researched commercial photography which gave me an understanding of the all the varied roles that went on in the photographic industry and demonstrated to me how essential they all are to. I found the subject of retouching very stimulating and has contributed to why I have an ambition to join this industry. I also have extensive practical processing and post processing experience within the world of photography.
I am a fast and accurate worker that can work closely with a team or as an individual, with a keen eye for detail. I express myself clearly with my colleagues both verbally and in written communication. I can use both PC and Mac operating systems and can use a multitude of programs such as all of the MS Office programs and am very proficient on programs contained within Adobes CS6 suite. I will be very grateful for the opportunity to progress my knowledge and career through your company. I am able to take on the responsibility of this position immediately, and have the enthusiasm and determination to ensure that I make a success of it.
