About me

I'm Sam Shepherd. Not the dead actor, but an award-winning (if you care) freelance Creative Director or Senior Creative - depending on what you're after.

I've worked in the industry, in permeant roles, for the last 12 years.

Having studied in graphic design, I started my career as an Art Director before slowly morphing into a Copywriter, and then doing both for a good many years.

I've worked in digital, above the line, through the line, under the line. In fact, I've ridden that line all over the shop.

I can write, draw, design, direct, talk and do pretty much everything expected of a Creative.

Doesn't matter what channel, I can work with it, because it's all just advertising and it's all about the idea.

I work well with other humans. Especially nice ones.

I can CD teams and get work pitch ready.

I can equally (and enjoy) just coming up with ideas and bringing them to life - working in to other CDs or ECDs.

I can work at your place, or remotely if you can't stand to look at me, which I understand.
