About me

I'm writing in reference to the job vacancy for a fashion copywriter.

I have four years' experience writing about fashion an beauty, both commercially and editorially, for national magazines and newspapers.

My current position at Asian Woman magazine and sister publication Asian Bride magazine as a features writer has given me invaluable skills in proofreading copy, coming up with exciting new feature ideas and writing attention grabbing headlines.

I also have experience writing advertorials for well known brands such as The Makeup Store, NYX Cosmetics and Becca Cosmetics. Working alongside the marketing managers I also came up with persuasive and compelling ways to attract consumers and help sell the product.

I'm a strong and diverse writer with a good command of the English language. I'm also able to communicate through my writing and use language to sell ideas as well as adhere to strict deadlines.

Working simultaneously for a bridal and lifestyle publication also shows that I'm able to adapt my tone and style of writing to suit the consumer.

I feel that with my experience and skills I would be ideal for this position. I'm a highly creative person who is passionate about beauty and writing.
