HELLO, I'm Sammy
A multi-disciplinary freelance Graphic Designer & Photographer with over 14 years experience. Shaped by the two oceans on the sunny shores of Cape Town - South Africa, I moved to London when I was 22 years and stayed for over a decade. Here I worked in some of London's leading design and advertising agencies including; SapientNitro London & Momentum Worldwide. All the while I founded my own creative design and photography studio, Sauriêl: A boutique creative studio specialising in conceptual logos/brand development, Creative Direction, bespoke Art & Design and Photography for Music, People & Places.
Currently based in Bristol - UK, I offer a unique range of creative services which enables me to provide each client with truly personalised and resourceful design and photography experience. All in a professional, down to earth and friendly manner. My goal is to create lasting relationships with brands and clients. Over the years, I have had the great pleasure of working with many clients and individuals from artists, musicians, small independent start-ups to large national agencies and organisations both local and worldwide. I've been told that I'm a 'dream', a 'magnificent goddess', a 'visual magician'; that I have a gift for extracting what my clients want to communicate and translating their thoughts into captivating visuals that perfectly embody the essence of their business or brand.
My style is vibrant and unique with meticulous attention to detail. I'm passionate about creative storytelling and conjuring up compelling, personality-infused visuals with a hint of magic and nostalgia. I love capturing the beauty of humans and the whimsical nature of the world around us. I love working on projects that align with my values & beliefs and I'm always striving towards a more eco-friendly and sustainable lifestyle & planet. I love collaborating with positive people who are keen to make a difference in this crazy world. My work focuses on the emotional, magical and celestial with healing rainbow chakra colour. When I'm not working on exciting new projects, you can find me creating personal Fine Art portraits and original artwork for my shop.
