About me
I have worked with a variety of different photography styles, both as a photographer and as an assistant. As an assistant I have worked on high- end fashion shoots for Australian glossy editorials. I have also worked closely with the photographers in art direction and styling in shoots for home ware and furniture clients. I have experience with the use of medium format cameras, the processing of raw images and Capture One. My advanced studies in photography have given me a sound knowledge of studio lighting, which has then been furthered through my practical experience as an assistant.
As a freelance photographer and retoucher, I have had the opportunity to work with a variety of different photography styles and complex retouching. I have photographed and done the retouching for band promotional shots, accessory labels, corporate portraits and personal portraits. I have also been in a variety of exhibitions showcasing personal works that were done using both studio lighting skills as well as retouching skills.
Whilst working for an art gallery I was employed to photograph a range of different art works. This involved photographing different surfaces that required a variety of lighting techniques. From glass sculptures to large scale works of metal to oil canvases. Whilst working there I managed the digital archive, and was responsible for all retouching, which included extensive colour management, with both RGB and CMYK profiles.
