About me
As a recent Undergraduate, and an employee of BBC Radio 5 Live for the last five years, I have had the opportunity to gain vital production experience working on a number of different programmes such as 'The Stephen Nolan programme', '606' and 'Up All Night'. My responsibilities as a Researcher/ Broadcast Assistant have allowed me to develop and utilize key skills such as research and organisation, communication with staff, contributors and the public, as well as affording me an insight into the process of creating content for different styles of programme.
I have also gained valuable experience working as an Interactive Broadcast Assistant, developing output for the BBC 5 Live 'In Short' webpage and also for BBC 5 Live's Twitter account. Whilst working alongside the 'Daily Edition', 'Drive' and 'After Edition' programme teams, it has enabled me to understand the importance of creativity, whilst responsibly using social media to compliment the programme output.
As an individual who is highly motivated, creative and enthusiastic, I have the will and determination to succeed. I am keen to further my career by securing a position that allows me to use and develop my skills in a creative environment.
