To Whom it may concern,
I am writing in regards to this exiting position that you are
advertising for graphic designer.

Having graduated with a Bachelor of Media Arts majoring in graphic
design from Wintech in Hamilton New Zealand.

I have six years graphic design Industry experience in a number of
positions, and gained experience in a variety of different mediums.
I have just arrived into London from New Zealand, on a two-year work
Visa.
I am organized and efficient with an eye for detail. I find my best
work comes from being under pressure. The last 12 months my roll with
Jobe Valves as senior designer and marketing director has given me
insight into where I can see myself in the future. My responsibilities
were, in charge of the marketing direction.

Designing POS work from promotional ad campaigns, Illustration,
corporate identities, Catalogue's, Web and Motion design. As well
as large format graphics for our trade show booth. All my print work
was printed and produced in-house.

I also worked with the accountant and the receptionist with marketing
and customer service.
I designed the Coastlines street wear clothing range for summer /
fall 2007 and 2008. This was a two year project.

I did everything from creating storyboards with sketches of new ideas,
sourced the fabric and designed all the prints for the Woman and
Men's garments.

Once the range was finalized I then designed the Catalogue using Adobe
Indesign from concept to final.
I have designed ad campaigns for Analog clothing

This is an American leading Surfing and Street wear company owned by
Burton snowboards.

I was contracted to design all of the graphics for the reggae/dub band
"cornerstone roots" from New Zealand.

I designed their CD "free your self" and all the promotional
print work.

I also was contracted to the Dub and reggae festival
"Soundsplash" I designed logos and graphics for the 2007
festival.
I have attached a portfolio of some of my work for you to get a
better idea of my skills and abilities, I look forward to hearing from
you in the near future and hope I have an opportunity to meet with
you.
